There's a new brewery in town
18 July 2012 by
A new brewery for the Horsham area has sprung up in Southwater. The Baldy Brewery has started brewing a range of ales including bottle conditioned beers. They also grow their own Fuggles and Challenger hops.
By using the best ingredients available I hope to recreate great flavours for any occasion. From a Light zesty and hoppy Blonde Ale in the Summer, to a Dark and rich Porter for those cold Winter evenings in front of the fire!
The beers should be available in local pubs and beer festivals (including Horsham Beer Festival) in the coming weeks and are also available in the Beer Essentials in East Street, Horsham. I'm looking forward to trying them!
It's great to see a new brewery and an enthusiasm for creating new beers in Southwater. Nice one!
Update 2013: The brewery has moved to Parham House Estate near Pulborough and Storrington.
