Brewery tours and events at Horsham breweries
07 November 2012 by
There are several breweries in and around Horsham and it's possible to have a brewery tour of some of these. Even if a brewery doesn't run tours, they often have beer tastings, launch events and seasonal festivals. Here's what I know:
King Beer have a brewery tours page [update 2017: brewery no longer in business] on their website with all their tour dates. The tours costs £10/head.
If you fancy a Brewery Tour, why not gather a group of mates together and join Ian Burgess, Head Brewer with 32 years' experience in the industry and walk through the Brew House
Hepworths don't run tours for the general public because space at the brewery is very limited. They do have the Hepworth's beer tent at several events in Horsham town centre during the year though.
Kissingate Brewery organise several events at the brewery throughout the year. It's also possible to arrange a brewery visit for 16-50 people. The tours take place on Saturdays and cost £14/head, which includes a pint and hot and cold buffet. Contact the brewery for more details.
We provide a very warm welcome to all our visitors. We can offer bespoke packages for 16 to 50 guests.
Weltons Brewery don't run tours for the general public as such but they have beer tastings and several events throughout the year, including live bands at the brewery. They will run special tours for pubs and it's best to arrange this direct with the brewery.
Tours of Dark Star Brewery can be arranged if you contact them direct. Tours are normally on Saturdays. The visit page on their website has the details. The brewery also run a wide range of events throughout the year.
All in all, you can visit most of the breweries for tours and events throughout year. It's a great way of trying beers that you may not have tasted before!
